Sweden is a paradise for anglers. Among the most attractive fishing areas are Värmland and Dalsland. Fishing from the shore is possible on some waters. With motorboat or canoe, however, a true “El Dorado” opens up for the fishing enthusiast.
Fishing license in Sweden info
Fishing in Sweden does not require a fishing license (fishing test). However, you must buy a fishing license (fiskekort) for most waters. You can book these very conveniently in advance or promptly directly to your mobile phone:

At Canoe Center Svanskog you can rent fishing equipment such as spinning sets or float fishing sets.
On Lake Vänern fishing is free, you do not need a “fiskekort”. Please be sure to check the protection zones (inquire on site), closed seasons and
