Canoerental and canoetours in Sweden
The Köpmannebro canoe tour starts far to the south and leads through varied cultural landscapes and one of the most beautiful canoeing areas in Värmland. On the left, you pass the striking mountain massif of Sörknatten, where “Ronja the Robber’s Daughter” was filmed. Between the lakes Ärr and Ånimen (by the lock) there is a great hiking trail up Sörknatten (2-3 hours), and in good weather you have a fantastic unobstructed view of the huge Lake Vänern. The northern section of the canoe tour leads through the outskirts of Dano Land and promises great variety and fantastic scenery. Good fishing opportunities, fishing permits can be purchased at the canoe center or booked online. Very flexible paddling route, we recommend a tour duration of 6 to 7 days.
The route on GoogleMaps is only a suggestion for orientation. The Swedish “Everyman’s Right” must be strictly observed. During the briefing, we inform you about the applicable rules, regulations and provisions in the planned area.
