6 days canoe tour Järnsjön
This “round trip” starts and ends at the northern Östra Silen. The route leads through the popular Dalsland-Nordmarken canoeing area, it is very varied and can be paddled in a northern or southern arc depending on the weather and wind conditions. It is possible to extend the canoe tour by several days, the route can be customized. Good fishing opportunities, fishing permits can be purchased at the Svanskog Canoe Center or booked online. Very flexible paddling route, we recommend a tour duration of 5 to 10 days.

Stay overnight
During the tour you can spend the night in the wild nature, please follow the Dano regulations. The use of the paid “Dano” rest areas is optional. Groups of more than 5 people must stay overnight at “Dano” rest areas, a nature conservation card (Naturvårdskort) is required. Please do not make any wild fires.
Locks and Naturvårdskort
The locks are open from the beginning of June to mid-August. Outside of opening hours, you can transfer (bypass). The optional Naturvårdskort can be booked at the Canoe Center or directly on site (QR code).
