12 days canoe tour Jösseälv

Canoe trip Sweden Jösseälv 03
Recommended: 10 to 14 days canoe tour (A03)

The Jösseälv canoe tour starts far in the north of Värmland at Lake Lomsen. This adventurous tour takes you back across Norway to Jösseälv as far as the Glafsfjorden and then south to the Svanskog Canoe Center. There are several shopping facilities along the route. Very flexible route planning possible, we recommend 12 to 14 days tour duration!

At the mouth of the Lilaälven into the Byälven, a short detour to the south is worthwhile: in the small village of Nysäter, there is a Viking village with an open-air museum and a museum at the jetty, and if you want, you can stay overnight at the adjacent “mini” campsite (with shower/toilet) at a very reasonable price. There is a small supermarket in Nysäter.
